Bridging Web 2.0 Tools with Ad Hoc Mobile Usage

On May 20th, we did our first public demo of some of the tools we've put together here. We talked a bit about the components we were building, how we are implementing them in Drupal and what this means for re-use, and talked through a scenario of using the SMS gateway and a live updating web page to stimulate local interaction.

Attached is the simple presentation that accompanied the talk and demo. Note that we were using the internal codename 'SMAUG' at the time, and settled on SIFT as the name of the component within the MUSE context.

SIFT Beta site

Hi, this is Raincity Studios beta website for a Mobile Muse social media tracking component.

Feel free to poke around -- there isn't much you can do here directly, yet. The Microblog section is a self-updating page which displays SMS text messages which are sent in. Feel free to experiment by texting 604-825-1277.
